Wat is omakase?

Omakase (お任せ) is a Japanese tradition built on trust. There is no menu. You leave yourself in the hands of the chef, who creates a sequence of courses inspired by the day’s fresh ingredients and the inspiration of the moment.

The term comes from the Japanese expression “omakase shimasu,” literally meaning “I entrust it to you.” In Japan, this tradition evolved into the most personal dining experience a restaurant can offer.
